Biography

Gordon Jackson is a nationally renowned author and speaker on the subject of building positive employee relations and human resources issues.

Mr. Jackson is a member of the National Speakers Association and a Who’s Who in Professional Speaking. He is one of fewer than 700 speakers worldwide to earn the NSA’s Certified Speaking Professional designation. He is a frequent speaker at management meetings and seminars throughout the nation and has averaged in excess of 100 speaking engagements annually,  during his 30 year career.

Mr. Jackson is the author of more than 20 books.

His books include Coaches Encourage-Bosses Punish, a top selling relationship book for managers and supervisors, the Labor and Employment Law Handbook, a two-volume reference manual on all federal and state employment laws, When Trouble Strikes, an Action Handbook, Before You Hire, the Hiring Manual for Today’s Workplace and Unlawful Terminations and Employment-at-Will.  He is the co-author of How to Defend and Win Labor and Employment Law Cases.

Regarded by many as the nation’s leading authority on labor avoidance, Mr. Jackson is the author of How to Stay Union Free, his best selling reference guide to union prevention, How To Win NLRB Elections and Defeat Union Campaigns, The Supervisor’s Election Campaign Manual, a Supervisor’s Guide During Union Activities and co-author of What Every Union-Free Supervisor Should Know About Unions.

He is a member of the prestigious College of Labor and Employment Lawyers and the Labor and Employment Section of the American Bar Association.

Mr. Jackson also is a lifelong golfing enthusiast and author of How Golf Works, How To Lock-In A Perfect Golf Swing and How To Hit a Golf Ball As Straight-As-An-Arrow.  He offers a complimentary 45 minute golf clinic on his Straight-As-An-Arrow Techniques to interested attendees at each of his speaking engagements.
